June 2009 School Food Trust’s sixth headteachers panel survey.
The aims of the present survey were to assess:
- Practical cookery in schools
- Financial aspects of school catering
- Compliance with school food standards
- Involvement with healthy eating initiatives
- Take up of school meals
Findings from the surveys represent a broad cross-section of views of head teachers regarding catering provision in their schools.
