August 2009 School Food Trust’s seventh headteachers panel survey.

The aims of the present survey were to assess:

  • Packed lunch policies
  • Promotion of school food
  • The importance and quality of school food
  • Methods of increasing take up of school lunches
  • Knowledge of and involvement with Let’s Get Cooking
  • Meal prices

Findings from the surveys represent a broad cross-section of views of headteachers regarding catering provision in their schools.
