March 2010 School Food Trust’s eighth headteachers panel survey.
The aims of the present survey were to assess:
- The timing of break and lunch
- The number of seats, service points and tills in dining areas
- Queuing for school lunch
- What students who have lunchtime activities do about lunch
- Whether pupils behaviour changes after lunch
- Schools Food Panel 8 Page 10
- Whether staff eat in the dining room with pupils
- Whether the school has been doing anything to try to increase take up of
- school meals
Findings from the surveys represent a broad cross-section of views of headteachers regarding catering provision in their schools.
