At Let's Get Cooking we believe everyone should have the chance to learn to cook and enjoy good food. It helps you to stay healthy, save money and it’s great fun!
Let’s Get Cooking runs England’s largest national network of healthy, school-based cooking clubs, led by the School Food Trust.
In 2007, we were awarded funding from the BIG Lottery to set up and support the first 5,000 clubs, for children and their families.
So far more than 4,400 clubs have joined the network, reaching 1.5 million people. Some have attended club sessions, some have taken part in community cooking events while others are benefiting from skills passed on at home.

If your school already has a cooking club, you can join the network by signing up as an associate club. You’ll get funding for cooking equipment and running costs, as well as a variety of resources.

We also offer training and support for any organisation wanting to run healthy cooking activities for children, young people and adults.
Cook4Life, London 2012, the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, the Best Practice Network, Sheffield Change4Life, Tewkesbury Healthy Towns, Nottingham Trent University and primary care trusts across the country are among the organisations and projects to have used our cooking programmes, training and resources so far.

We also work in lots of different settings including primary, secondary and special schools, pupil referral units, children’s centres and charities, universities and workplaces. Children, young people, parents, teenage parents, foster carers, students, Higher Level teaching assistants and healthy lifestyle support workers are among those who’ve already completed cooking training with us.
