Schools that give children a great lunchtime experience can only do so with the support of parents and pupils. They use a whole school approach to healthy eating – building it into their curriculum and the school environment – to get over the barriers which can prevent families from choosing a healthy school meal instead of a packed lunch. But how can you apply this at your school? How can you get parents, pupils, staff and your community on board?
This course, specifically tailored to secondary schools, will give you practical ideas on how to do this. During the session, you will develop an action plan to help you engage parents and pupils with healthy eating at your school, and you’ll take away lots of inspiration from other schools around the country.
Ideal for you if:
You want to encourage more children to eat healthy school meals and don’t know where to start.
Price:
Regular price £175
Early bird price of £150 available if you book by 31st July.
The early bird price is also available if you book more than one place or more than one course.
